Let’s get fit!
Benefit from an introduction to cardio exercises, free weights, and basic gym etiquette.
Sessions are led by a certified fitness instructor, support workers and volunteers.
Participants are also encouraged to build independence and fitness routines that can be maintained outside of the program.
CAN youth and adult programs are for individvuals who self-identify as Autistic. A formal diagnosis is not required.
Participants must have a registered account and be of the correct age when the program starts.

The program is led by a coach* with additional support provided by CAN staff and volunteers.
Our staff and volunteers are on hand to ensure that all participants are welcomed, accepted, and supported.

We’re around to help facilitate the program and keep the group on track.
Most importantly, we want to ensure that each Autistic youth or adult is comfortable participating at their pace.
*Our New Westminster location is led by an instructor from təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre.
Keep us in the loop!
For younger participants (or those with higher needs), parents and guardians can provide basic information about the participant’s support needs and abilities through their CAN account.*
For older or more independent participants, you can communicate any support needs or preferences through your CAN account.*
During the season, don’t hesitate to speak directly with staff about support needs and preferences.
