CAN Monthly NewsletterFind your voice!
Discover your voice and express your ideas through writing. Explore creativity, imagination, and the art of storytelling in a supportive group setting on Zoom.
Led by an Autistic peer facilitator, participants will grow as writers through discussion, reflection, and activities.
This program is for anyone age 16+ who self-identifies as Autistic. A formal diagnosis is not required.
Participants must have a registered account and be of the correct age when the program starts.

What To Expect
Creative Writing is led by an Autistic Peer Facilitator, Abi Feetham (they/them).
They are responsible for leading group activities and discussion, ensuring that all participants are welcomed, accepted, and supported.*
Abi is a late-identified Autistic person who has been using creative writing to explore and express their own experiences of the world since they were young.
They have found that writing fiction is a great tool for processing emotions that are otherwise difficult to recognise, and that sharing the process of creative writing with other people can help to find community. They enjoy writing poetry, short stories and fanfiction.
Abi has taken part in CAN programs as a participant, and hopes to help Autistic people similarly to how CAN programs have helped them. Their interests outside of writing include studying psychology, playing video games, and singing in a rock choir.
