FAQ for OUTDOOR CAMP

What is the date of the 2012 Kids Camp?

June 22nd-24th

What are the accommodations like?

There is a row of cabins complete with bunk beds and bathrooms.

What sort of activities will attendees get to participate in?

The participants will rotate in small groups between activities such as canoeing, visits with farm animals, a look at the fishery centre, arts& crafts and gym games. A detailed schedule will be sent out to families closer to the start date.

Where is Outdoor School located?

In Squamish, approximately 45 minutes from Vancouver.

Will meals be provided?

All meals and snacks are provided and catered by the camp’s own kitchen staff. **Make sure to include any special dietary needs in the information sheet that is sent to families upon acceptance.

What should I pack?

The usual camp stuff- Warm clothes, a bathing suit and towel, sunscreen, insect repellent… A more detailed list will be provided upon acceptance into the program.

Will transportation be provided?

No transportation will be provided by CAN however we encourage families to carpool.

Do I need to register each child separately?

Yes, each child needs to be registered to secure their spot.
