Summer in the City Frequently Asked Questions

What are the dates for Jump Into Spring and Summer in the City 2012?

March 19th-23rd

July 23th-27th

August 20th-24th

Can a participant go to all three sessions?

Due to the limited spaces available, we ask that participants choose one session per calendar year.

What sort of activities do the participants get to do?

Activities range depending on weather and other factors but often include bowling, a trip to the Vancouver Aquarium,  a tour of Rogers Arena, a day at Grouse Mountain and many other fun activities.

Are all meals provided?

A basic lunch will be assembled by participants (ingredients provided) at the start of each day and will consist of sandwiches, snacks and water. Participants are welcome to pack additional food, however there will be no opportunity to stop for food during the day.

What should I pack?

A basic list will be provided upon acceptance into the camp with specific items listed for each adventure.

Will transportation be provided?

CAN provides the daily bus tickets, however there is no additional transportation to or from the drop off/pick up location.

Does a participant need to attend all five days of the camp?

Attendance for the duration of the week is mandatory, however sickness or other emergencies are understood.
