This week long day camp for teen with autism will lead participants throughout the city, on public transit, to visit some of Vancouver’s top tourist destinations. Other fun activities included in the program are the Aquarium, the UBC Botanical Gardens, bowling, the movies and a trip to the Golden Ears Park. Each day participants make their lunch (food provided).
There will be a high ratio of volunteers and support available to ensure a successful experience. This is a fun week full of activities that focuses on social development, sports and recreation and life skills.
There is a mandatory Meet and Greet the Sunday before the program begins to allow participants, staff and volunteers to meet.
Session 1- July 19th-23rd
Session 2- August 16th-20th
The cost for each camp experience is $10.00
