We are still looking for more people to join the CAN running team for the Scotiabank 5k/half marathon on June 24. Simply follow the directions to sign up as a runner, choose CAN as your charity of choice, and when asked to join a team, choose the Canucks Autism Network team! Guess which two former Vancouver Canucks team captains will be at the Canucks Autism Network Family Festival on April 1st? Vancouver Canucks alumni Stan Smyl and Orland Kuterbach! They will be available for pictures and autographs so don’t forget your cameras!

We are excited to announce that the top individual fundraiser has already raised $650 and the top fundraising team is at $1500! Raise funds for families living with autism and take home some amazing incentive prizes! Top individual fundraiser receives a Vancouver Canucks team-signed jersey and a team-signed stick! Top team gets an ultimate Vancouver Canucks behind-the scenes experience. All funds raised will go to more programs, activities and events to individuals and families living with autism in BC.

Big thanks are extended to all those who visited the Canucks Autism Network table at this year’s Hockey Day in Canada.  Many generous donations, hilarious photos with the headless Canuck, and a great time had by all! We hope to see you there next year!

Join us at the Richmond Olympic Oval for Hockey Day in Canada this Saturday, February 11, from 10:30am-10:00pm. The event is FREE and will include special visits from Trevor Linden, Canucks mascot Fin and other Canucks alumni including Dave Babych, Tony Tanti, Orland Kurtenbach and Jack McIlhargey! Watch Linden and other celebrities compete in ball hockey, stroll through the Hockey Hall of Fame exhibits, play games, enter contests and test your hockey skills.
