What is the Canucks Autism Network?
The Canucks Autism Network (CAN) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to providing programs and services to individuals and families affected by autism throughout BC. Program areas include sports and recreation, social and vocational, as well as educational programs designed to promote strategies of inclusion, friendship and empathy to neurotypical students. CAN is governed by a seven member Board of Directors.

I have a child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. How do I get my family involved with CAN?
CAN offers the Family Membership Program to families affected by autism in British Columbia for an annual fee of $25/family. With a CAN Membership, families are able to access programs and services in their community as well as borrow materials from the CAN Provincial Resource Centre. Where does CAN get their funding?

What are the different volunteer opportunities that are available with CAN?
CAN delivers a variety of different programs that require many different skill sets and experience. Based on the position, a volunteer may require either experience working with individuals with autism or working in a recreational setting.
